And here we are in the Message Area!  (Notice the color of my scrollbar which I mentioned on the previous page) Also notice that I have added a "text box" in a very light shade of purple, with a dark purple, double border.  See below to learn how to do this style of letter.
MESSAGE AREA SECTION
Background Color - This is where you choose the color of your "text box".  I used the "eye dropper" tool and selected the light purple color from my floral background.  (If you don't want a "text box", then skip this part.)

Background Image
- I am NOT using a Background Image, so I will not explain this section here.  This will be explained in another tutorial for a different letter style.

Message Border - This is where I made the dark purple, double border around my text area.  I chose a width of 5, chose a dark purple color, then under "Style"  I selected "double".   (Under Style, you have several choices, and of course you should experiment with each style, along with the width to see what looks best.)  Message Transparency - For this letter, I left the setting at 100.  To reduce the transparency of your "text box", you would click on the down arrow.  Experiment.....you can't
break anything!!

Message Text Margins - Here we have the settings for the alignment of our text INSIDE our "text box.  On my letter, the text comes in 10 from the LEFT side, it comes down 5 from the TOP, comes up 10 from the BOTTOM, and is 5 from the RIGHT side of the "text box".  (This is mainly a "personal" preference.  I prefer that my text is not right next to the sides of the double lined border I created.)

Use Stationery Font - Here is where you can choose your font. By clicking on the little black arrow you will see all the available fonts.  Once you choose the one you want you may then select the size.  You may also chose the color of your font by using the "eye dropper", or by clicking on the little black arrow...which will display all the colors.  Click BOLD, ITALC, or UNDERLINE if you want.  Notice that there is also an Extra Text Styles button.  Once again....EXPERIMENT!!
